Salon professionals have a unique role and trusted position in their clients’ lives, giving them a special opportunity to assist victims of domestic abuse. The national Cut It Out program both builds awareness through salons of domestic abuse, and trains salon professionals to recognize warning signs and safely refer clients to local resources.
